The next problem we face not so often, but for a long time, is removing stubborn matte lipstick or tint from the lips. We’re talking about the very cases when a simple micellar water or cleansing gel is not enough. What then? Here are a few ways to remove stubborn make-up from your lips.

Method 1: using petroleum jelly
One of the easiest yet effective means of removing stubborn lipstick is ordinary cosmetic petroleum jelly. Apply it on your lips in a thick layer and leave it on for about 3-5 minutes. This time is necessary for the product to interact with the lipstick. Due to the oil content in petroleum jelly, it binds fats and waxes that are usually found in permanent lip make-up products and breaks them down. After the time has passed, take a cotton disc or tissue and gently remove the residue of Vaseline from your lips. If necessary, the procedure can be repeated.

Method 2: with oil
The same effect as petroleum jelly, has a cosmetic oil. Coconut oil is best, as it is considered hypoallergenic and has no side effects and contraindications. It should be applied to the lips and left for at least 3-5 minutes. After – carefully remove the oil residue with a paper napkin or cotton disc. If the pigment is not completely gone, the procedure can be repeated.

What shouldn’t be in summer cosmetics?
An important task in summer is to reduce the harmful effects of UV rays. Therefore, cosmetics should not contain active ingredients that increase susceptibility to sunlight.

Retinol

Some of the most popular ingredients in cosmetics are derivatives of vitamin A (retinol), retinoids. They help reduce wrinkles, lighten pigmentation and treat acne. But they also increase the skin’s photosensitivity. There are many forms of retinoids – active (medications) and not so active (cosmetic). “If it’s an inexpensive mass-market cream labelled “vitamin A”, you’re unlikely to see a retinol side effect in the sun. However, vitamin A is different in that it breaks down quickly in the sun.

Sunscreens can be long-lasting or non-lasting. The former are usually thicker in texture and are often water-resistant. The latter are quite weightless and suitable for use in the city. So, long-lasting products do not always lend themselves to the usual cleansing with micellar water or gel. Outwardly, you may think that the product coped with SPF cream, but after a week on the skin will appear closed comedones or other inflammation. Such symptoms can be the result of improper cleansing. The fact is that persistent sunscreen should be washed off in two stages:

– The first is with an oil-based product. This can be a hydrophilic oil, balm, sherbet or any other product that contains oils in its formula.

– The second is with a water-based product. To remove oil residue and further deep cleanse your skin, use a gel, foam or milk.

The web is discussing the recent interview of Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Kidman for The Hollywood Reporter. In the comments under the video, which was published on the official page of the publication in the banned social network, Internet users once again talked about the appearance of the stars.

‘Love these actresses… But so much botox,’ ‘Two very talented women who shouldn’t have had all that rubbish shoved in their faces,’ ‘Kidman can barely move her face,’ subscribers wrote.

Swelling is a problem that everyone faces in one way or another, regardless of age, weight and lifestyle. Especially in summer. Due to the high air temperature, blood vessels dilate, fluid accumulates in veins and capillaries, blood stagnates and swelling occurs. How to relieve it and what to do to minimise it?

How to remove the oedema?
– Lymphatic drainage massage. Lymphatic drainage massage of the face and body with a course of 4-8 procedures will ideally help to remove swelling. And additionally strengthen the effect of alginate or energy mask immediately after the facial massage.

– Self-massage. It will help to prolong the effect after the course. But massage can also be used as an independent way to minimise swelling. Pompazhnyh movements stimulate the lymph nodes: in the axillae, above and below the clavicular area, in the submandibular and parotid areas. Then go through the whole face 3-5 times in circles, returning to the parotid lymph nodes. It’s great to do this in the morning after waking up.

– Cool face masks with caffeine. If you’re only concerned about facial puffiness, this is the perfect remedy. You should look for caffeine in such products – it is an effective ingredient that stimulates microcirculation and thus reduces puffiness.
